	Keepers Log Cabin set in a secluded Cornish Valley. Beautiful location, balcony overlooks the lake. Only a short walk to a sandy beach with views over the bay towards Looe Island. Looe is a historic Cornish fishing port with quaint streets, cafes, restaurants, Inns, lots of shops, harbour, river, sandy beach, hidden coves and island. This unique valley location is perfect for a holiday with the three log cabins set lakeside and two set in the meadow below in the beautiful Cornish countryside. The valley is a privately owned and the proprietor is a keen conservationist. This is not like a commercial site, the grounds around the cabins are not neatly manicured for modern effect. The site is distinctly rustic adding to the natural charm of the valley, for example the owner lets things like the nettles grow for the butterflies to enjoy a natural habitat. There are also chickens & ducks roaming freely around the lakes & grounds. Just a 3 minute drive to Looe. Nearby is Polperro, which is a picturesque Cornish fishing village with traditional white painted cottages overlooking the harbour, famed for its history of smuggling & fishing. The heritage museum at Polperro has old photos and exhibits.

LOOE, CORNWALL: Click here for a Photo Tour of Looe, Cornwall FLY & COARSE FISHING is available at nearby Bake Fishing Lakes (5 miles from Highbank Log Cabin) , 7 lakes set in 30 picturesque acres of the Cornish countryside. Tuition and equipment hire are available from the lakeside tackle shop. No membership required, the lakes are open from 8.00 until dusk all year. ACCOMMODATION Keepers Log Cabin is let from Saturday to Saturday and sleeps 4-6, keys are made available from 3.30pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday. (Shorter breaks are available out of main season). Keepers Log Cabin has steps up to it and has a balcony with views over the lakes and wooded valley. Patio furniture is provided, should you decide to dine alfresco and enjoy the views. Keepers Log Cabin is available all year and benefits out of season by having central heating, the cabin is furnished and equipped to a basic standard of self catering accommodation. The kitchen area has a gas hob, fridge/ice-box, combi - microwave oven, kettle, toaster and an ample supply of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans. Two tea-towels are also provided. The double bedroom has a 4'6 pine bed, and pine chest of drawers. Bed linen is provided and included in the tariff. The twin bedroom has pine bunk-beds and a pine chest of drawers. Bed linen is provided and included in the tariff. The bathroom has a W.C, wash basin and bath as well as shower attachment, mirror and towel rail. The lounge has a double sofa-bed, arm chairs, a coffee table, pine welsh dresser, 14"colour television including video and doors leading out to the balcony. The covered balcony affords lovely lake and countryside views at any time of the day or evening and has a wall mounted outside light. There is a communal wooden out building for the three log cabins in the valley, containing a large American-Style washing machine and tumble dryer. Private parking is free in the valley for holiday guests renting Keepers Lodge. Electricity is included in the tariff. Dogs are accepted by arrangement (at the owners discretion) and must be kept on a lead on site, however there are woodland walks nearby and an all year dog friendly beach at Seaton which is a short drive away. The owners also have a field within a 1 minute walk away where dogs can be exercised. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION : The Owners' insist that Children MUST be supervised at all times on site. The Log Cabin is located around 20ft from the lakes and it is Condition of Rental that Children must be supervised by an adult at all times onsite. Please be mindful of this when booking.
