Highbank Log Cabin set in a secluded Cornish Valley. Beautiful location, balcony overlooks the lake. This unique valley location is perfect for a holiday with the three log cabins set lakeside and two set in the meadow below in the beautiful Cornish countryside. The valley is a privately owned and the proprietor is a keen conservationist. This is not like a commercial site, the grounds around the cabins are not neatly manicured for modern effect. The site is distinctly rustic adding to the natural charm of the valley, for example the owner lets things like the nettles grow for the butterflies to enjoy a natural habitat. Only a short walk to a sandy beach with views over the bay towards Looe Island. Just a 3 minute drive to Looe Harbour. Looe is a historic Cornish fishing port with quaint streets, cafes, restaurants, Inns, lots of shops, harbour, river, sandy beach, hidden coves and its own island. Nearby is Polperro, which is a picturesque Cornish fishing village with traditional white painted cottages overlooking the harbour, famed for its history of smuggling & fishing.

Highbank Log Cabin is let from Saturday to Saturday, keys are made available from 3.30pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday.
short breaks Short breaks are available from September until June. 3 nights 70% or 4 nights at 80% of the weekly tariff.

Open plan kitchen / lounge / diner. The kitchen area has an integrated worktop gas hob, combination microwave grill and oven, fridge/ice-box, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and an ample supply of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans. Dining table and chairs for 4. Two tea-towels are also provided.

Open plan kitchen / lounge / diner. The lounge area has a leather sofa, double sofa-bed, a coffee table, 14" colour television including video and double doors leading out to the balcony.
balcony Highbank Log Cabin has level access and a balcony with views over the lakes and wooded valley. Patio furniture is provided, should you decide to dine alfresco and enjoy the views.

DOUBLE BEDROOM - The double bedroom has a 4'6 pine bed, pine wardrobe, and a bed side table and lamp. TWIN BEDROOM - The twin bedroom has two 3' pine beds, a pine chest of drawers and lamp. Plus double sofa-bed in the lounge.

The bathroom has a W.C, wash basin and walk-in shower cubicle with a wall-mounted electric shower, mirror and towel rail

pets Dogs are accepted by arrangement (at the owners discretion) and must be kept on a lead on site, however there are woodland walks nearby and an all year dog friendly beach at Seaton which is a short drive away. The owners also have a field within a 1 minute walk away where dogs can be exercised. There is a £10 surcharge pet pet per week.

bed linen & towels Bed linen is included in the rental tariff for 4 guests but you are asked to bring your own towels. Additional bed linen for up to two more guests (sleeping on a double sofa-bed in the lounge) is available for a surcharge of £10 per person per week/short break.

The Log Cabin is located around 20ft from the lakes and it is Condition of Rental that Children must be supervised by an adult at all times onsite. Please be mindful of this when booking
deposit upon booking DEPOSIT UPON BOOKING : 25% of weekly rental (The outstanding balance of rental will be due 28 days before the start of your holiday).
