A Port Isaac is a picturesque old-world fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall. It's name is derived from the old Cornish 'Porth Issec' meaning Corn Bay. It nestles in a valley between steep hills. Even today Port Isaac is relatively unspoilt and has been little affected by change during it's six hundred years of history. Sea fishing is available from off the rocks or from boats which may be hired locally.
