The town revolves around a busy market square with the dominating splendour of the Parish Church and Methodist Chapel. The town has five pubs, varied shops, restaurants, cafes, fish & chip shop, takeaways and offers visitors ample free parking. It is three quarters of a miles' walk from St Just to the nearest pebble beach with glorious Sennen Cove is a short drive away.
