The village and Castle of Caerhays are about one and a half miles away. The Gardens at Caerhays Castle are stunning and hold The National Magnolia Collection, something not to be missed. Caerhays Castle & Gardens - Owned by the Williams family, located in a sheltered valley overlooking Porthluney Cove on the South Cornish Coast equidistant from Truro and St Austell. The surrounding parkland and woodland gardens were created originally from the discoveries of the plant hunters in China shortly after the turn of the 20th century. Since then a great deal of hybridisation work has taken place at Caerhays to create the extensive woodland gardens which visitors admire today.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Treetops is available from Saturday to Saturday with keys available from 3.00.p.m. onwards on the first day of your holiday and departure at 10.00.a.m. on the last day of your holiday.   The owners live nearby and they will be happy to help you with any information and local knowledge which you may require.   Treetops is a unique property for two which has been furnished and fitted to an extremely high standard and has the benefit of wireless internet access and a telephone for guests.   It is an extrememly private property where complete peace is assured.  Access is through a private gate and up wooden stairs. The property is surrounded by a beautiful deck which leads down to a secluded garden.

LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN/DINING AREA This is a good sized, sunny room with a comfortable sofa, LCD TV, DVD player/recorder together with radio and CD facilities.   There is a dining table for two and the kitchen is very well equipped with 'fridge, freezer, excellent cooking facilities, kettle, toaster and a good supply of all kitchen equipment.     There is a gas fired, pot bellied stove for the cooler months and the room benefits from a large, panoramic window with views over the valley and garden.

LAUNDRY ROOM There is a separate laundry room with two top quality washing machines, two top quality tumble dryers, a large freezer and a w.c.

BEDROOM This is a beautiful room with a king size bed, large, full mirrored wardrobes, dressing table  and side cabinets with French doors leading out onto the verandah with wonderful views over the garden and valley.   The bed is dressed with Egyptian cotton bedlinen and luxurious bedcovers and cushions.   There is a hairdryer and alarm clock together with a TV and DVD player.

BATHROOM This is a totally luxurious room with underfloor heating and a large, heated towel rail.   The room boasts a large, jacuzzi bath together with a huge, walk-in shower.   There is an italian wash handbasin and w.c.   The bathroom boasts a plethora of top quality towels together with a range of toiletries and candles for guests' use.   There is a large window over the bath affording views over the valley.

GARDEN AND OUTSIDE SPACE There is a large, sunny deck which affords complete privacy which is furnished with a patio set, Mexican chimney, loungers and also has outside lighting.   Steps lead down to a beautiful, mature garden with riverside walks.

WELCOME TRAY A welcome pack is provided consisting of all the basic necessities to start your holiday on the right note!

AMENITIES There are many good pubs and restaurants within a five mile radius and the local village of Tregony has a doctor, dentist, hairdresser and village shop together with a post office.

ELECTRICITY, CLEANING EQUIPMENT, BED LINEN AND TOWELS All provided within the weekly tariff The property is for two people and we regret we are not able to accommodate children or pets.  The property has its own parking space.

N.B. There is a strict No Smoking policy in the property, however smoking is permitted in the decking area.
