Praa Sands is also a short drive from the picturesque Cornish fishing village of Porthleven , which offers a variety of pubs, restaurants and niche shopping. Also within a short drive beyond Penzance are Portcurno, the Minnack open air theatre, Cape Cornwall and Sennen Cove. Clipper Cove Penthouse is perfectly placed to take advantage of the magnificent outdoor opportunities that exist in this part of Cornwall , being situated on the South West Way coastal path. Excellent surfing, surf hire facilities and lessons can be found at the lifeguard patrolled beach. Praa Sands Golf Club lies behind the apartment and offers a friendly and relaxed welcome. The village has a local supermarket (with post office), three bar/ restaurants and a general store all within 2 minutes walk of the apartment.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Clipper Cove Penthouse is a Loft Style Penthouse Apartment with floor to ceiling windows incorporating French doors opening onto Juliet balcony providing uninterrupted views of the entire bay. The property sleeps 6 guests and is let from Saturday to Saturday, keys are made available from 3.30pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday.


SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION: There is no shortage of space or storage at Clipper Cove Penthouse with the open plan living and kitchen area (with large breakfast bar) being a great place to relax and enjoy the panoramic views. The fully fitted kitchen, in a stylish cream gloss finish, has integrated Neff appliances, microwave and fresh coffee machine. High quality wooden floors, blinds in the French windows and blackout remote controlled Velux blinds in the bedrooms comprise part of the high specification throughout. The 2 Master Bedrooms have white ensuite shower rooms and there is also a family bathroom which has a double ended bath, high pressure shower and chrome heated towel rail. All rooms (including bathrooms/ ensuites) have underfloor heating with individual thermostat control.

SECURE STORAGE FOR WETSUITS: Large storage room with designated secure cage at lower ground level facility for hanging wet clothes/ wetsuits, storing beach gear etc. High power cleaning hose supplied.

HEATING / AIRFLOW SYSTEMS IN THE PENTHOUSE : Heating via a natural ground source together with state of the art heat recovery ventilation which absorbs and circulates fresh air from outside the apartment. All rooms have individual thermostat control for underfloor heating.

ENTRANCE HALL: Very spacious with wooden flooring, area for clothes hanging and shoe racks. Access to cleaning cupboard and utility room.

UTILITY ROOM: Well equipped utility room including washing machine/ tumble dryer, second fridge, message board, integral drying rack, storage cupboards and worktop.

OUTSIDE: Look outside the apartments and you see the ocean stretching out in front of you and spectacular headlands at either end of the bay. PARKING: 2 Designated Parking Spaces in private car park with carefully manicured planting and foliage.

THE BEACH: Praa Sands Golden Beach is nearly 1 mile long – virtually all sand but with rockpools either end and spectacular headlands. There are lifeguards on duty from Easter until October with surf school and equipment hire at the beach.

BEACHSIDE RESTAURANTS / BARS: Beachside restaurants/ bars including the Sandbar, Roskilly's, and the Cove Restaurant which are open throughout the holiday season. The Sandbar is open year round and is a highly renowned bar/ restaurant with floor to ceiling windows, on the beach – external terrace area and also regular live music. The Cove is a licensed restaurant and Fish & Chip restaurant (with takeaway). There is also Roskilly's beachside café and shop.

LOCAL SUPERMARKET/ NEWSAGENTS (2 MINUTES WALK AWAY) : Local supermarket/ newsagent is two minutes walk from the apartment, together with an amazing “Aladdin's cave” general store (RJ supplies). Nearby (hill above Praa sands) are also a garage (with supermarket) and two pubs serving food.

DIRECTIONS : Take the A30 westbound towards penzance after passing through the village of Crowlas continue for a mile. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A394 towards Helston. Continue for three miles to Germoe crossroads and then turn right towards Praa Sands. Follow this road for one mile heading towards the beach, Clipper Cove is on the right hand side.
