	About Liskeard... the town was first mentioned in the Doomsday book of 1086, this medieval Cornish market town is now a commercial shopping centre.Well located with many places to visit nearby. Beautiful Common Moor is to the north of the town. Visit the famous Trago Mills Store near Liskeard, Carnglaze Cavern & Siblyback Boat Lakes. Nearby is Bodmin, a historic old Cornish town. Rich in 15th Century architecture. To the east of the town is Bodmin Moor which is an area of outstanding natural beauty & is very popular with walkers and ramblers. Lots of places of interest to visit in the area including The Bodmin Steam Railway, Lanhydrock House and Pencarrow. Enjoy a fun-packed family day out and hire a boat, windsurfer or jet skiis at Siblyback Watersport Lakes on beautiful Common Moor, Liskeard. Bodmin makes a great base to be able to see all that Cornwall has to offer. There are many lovely walks for visitors to enjoy, including part of the Saints Way. Visit the National Trust's Lanhydrock House, with its wonderful grounds and gardens. The Eden Project and many other popular places to visit are all close by including the sandy beaches and spectacular cliff top walks of both the North and South coasts of Cornwall.
