Port Isaac is a picturesque old-world fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall. It's name is derived from the old Cornish 'Porth Issec' meaning Corn Bay. It nestles in a valley between steep hills.
Even today Port Isaac is relatively unspoilt and has been little affected by change during it's six hundred years of history. Narrow alleys and streets give Port Isaac an air of enchantment, so different from anything you may find elsewhere.
Locarno 2 is close to the coastal path, beaches, quaint shops and pubs at Port Isaac on the north coast of Cornwall.
There are ample shopping facilities at Port Isaac including general stores, a gift shop, local art shops, cafes, restaurants and old-world public houses.
Golf at nearby St.Enodoc. Water-skiing at nearby Rock. Tennis, bowls etc... at the market town of Wadebridge, which is ten miles away. The Eden Project is only 45 minutes drive from Port Isaac and last year and attracted approximately 2 million visitors from the UK and overseas.
ACCOMMODATION
Locarno (Apartment 2), 5 New Road, Port Isaac is let from Saturday to Saturday, keys are made available from 3.00pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.00am on the last day of your holiday.
The apartment is presented on two levels in this substantial Edwardian house, and sleeps 8, located just a few minutes walk from the beach. There are sea views from the apartment.
The first floor has a large double bedroom (with walk-in shower).
A seperate W.C. A single bedroom.
A bathroom with W.C. Lounge with 3 piece suite, coffee table and colour t.v.
A kitchen with dining table and seating for up to 8 guests,fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.
The top floor has a further two bedrooms, one with two single divans, the other with one double and one single bed.
All bedrooms have hot and cold running water.
Bed-linen is available to hire for £4.00 per person per week.
There is central heating on the first floor.
There are electric heaters on both floors.
Hot water is supplied and included in the tariff.
There is an £1 coin operated electricity meter at the property.
Off-road parking is free for holidaymakers renting the apartment.
The owners of the property do not accept children under 3 years of age.
