Looe is a busy fishing port with quaint streets, a harbour, sandy beach, hidden coves and its own island. The cottage has lovely views to the front and back with far reaching countryside views to the rear and views across the countryside towards Looe Bay at the front. Looe is a historic fishing port with quaint streets, a harbour, sandy beach, shops, restaurants, hidden coves and its own island. Nearby is Polperro, which is a picturesque Cornish fishing village with traditional white painted cottages overlooking the harbour, famed for its history of smuggling & fishing. The heritage museum at Polperro has old photos & exhibits. The Looe Valley Railway Station is just a short walk away and is extremely popular with tourists. Looe Harbour has traditionally been the focus of attention when the fishing boats come back to Harbour to unload their catches. Even though the fishing fleet in Looe is smaller these days, it still makes a bustling and colourful scene around ice room on the Harbourside. Looe Harbour is tidal so during your stay there is an ever changing view of the Harbour. In main season there are lots of sea fishing trips & shark fishing trips available from the Harbour as well as pleasure boat trips (including the glass bottom boat trip). Keys are made available from 3.30pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday. (Shorter breaks are available out of main season, subject to availability). This semi-detatched cottage is very well presented . There is a charming secluded old stone-walled garden to the rear with patio furniture, barbeque and conservatory with lovely views. There is a small flowered garden to the front with wooden corner seating. All Floors except Bedrooms are ceramic tiled. New Porch with UPVC French doors giving Wheelchair access. Central Heating and Double Glazed throughout. THE KITCHEN is fully fitted (cottage style) with all new appliances. Built in Electric oven , Ceramic Hob, Extractor, New Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Microwave, kettle, toaster and an ample supply of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans. Two tea-towels are also provided. There are far reaching countryside views from the kitchen window. There is an archway leading to the living room. THE LIVING ROOM has new furniture, leather sofas and reclining chair, pine coffee table and bookcase. Feature fireplace with flame effect electric fire. TV/Video. There are patio doors leading to the conservatory. THE CONSERVATORY has a new Pine Dining table and chairs. There are views across open countryside. THE SINGLE BEDROOM is well presented and has a 4' pine bed, antique pine wardrobe, and a bed side table and lamp. Bed linen is provided and included in the tariff. There are lovely countryside views through the double-glazed bedroom window, over the countryside towards Looe-Bay. THE TWIN BEDROOM is tastefully decorated and has two 3' pine beds, a stripped pine chest of drawers, chair, stripped pine pot cupboard, lamp and clothes cupboard. Bed linen is provided and included in the tariff. There are countryside views from the double-glazed bedroom window. THE ENSUITE MASTER DOUBLE BEDROOM is on a mezzanine level has a kingsize double bed, bedside tables, lamps, chest of drawers and ensuite shower room with walk in shower, wash bash, mirror, heated towel rail and W/C. THE BATHROOM has a new bathroom suite, mirror, towel rail, shower screen and wall-mounted electric power shower. THE BACK GARDEN is concreted with flowerbeds around the edges to the old stone wall, it is extremely private and is not overlooked. There is patio furniture and lovely far reaching countryside views. Membership for guests at I School Cottage for the for the week is available at £10 per person per week ( no charge for under 3 or over 90) and includes lots of FREE facilities & entertainment for all the family. The membership tickets are OPTIONAL. Keys are made available from 3.30pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday.
