HOW MUCH COULD I EARN FROM MY PROPERTY?
This depends on a number of important factors including the size of the holiday property, standard of equipment & furnishing, location, views and of course demand. Valley Villas carefully assess each and every holiday home on its own merit and places it in an appropriate price band to maximise the number of bookings whilst acheiving an optimal amount of income for the owner.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY MONEY?
All of our owners receive payment for bookings within seven days of each and every holiday let. Valley Villas owners have the peace of mind of knowing there is a regular cash flow for them. Valley Villas employ a full-time trained accounts manager & administrators who are backed up by Valley Villas Chartered Accountants.
HOLIDAY HOME INSURANCE & ANNUAL PAT TESTING
Valley Villas Sales Advisors can offer useful advice on holiday home insurance and annual PAT testing at their properties (a legal requirement when offering a property as a holiday let).
CAN I USE THE PROPERTY MYSELF?
Yes, we encourage holiday home owners to use their holiday homes, especially out of season. Our standard contract allows a minimum of 8 weeks per year, but to ensure you receive the highest income on the property only one week should be taken in July or August. Of course, we are happy to discuss individual owners particular requirements.
ARE THERE ANY SET UP COSTS TO ME?
Valley Villas do not charge a set up charge or joining fee, however owners pay for the Quality in Tourism/Visit Britain official inspection and star rating certificate for their property. The inspection is administered through Valley Villas and our owners benefit from a greatly reduced price as the official inspector is accompanied by one of our sales advisors. PREPARING YOUR PROPERTY
All new properties are submitted for grading & star rating by the official Quality in Tourism / Visit Britain Inspectors. This ensures a credible and consistant quality standard for prospective guests. Valley Villas can provide assistance and advice on standards of presentation, furnishing & equipment required. At our pre-inspection visit to your holiday property we can provide an official booklet detailing requirements or you can order direct from Visit Britain.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
We ask our owners to ensure that their property meets the expectations of holiday guests. Our owners typically employ a local caretaker or property manager to ensure the property is cleaned and presented to a high standard upon arrival, with a local caretaker contact number available to guests during their stay should there be any unforseen problems during their stay. Valley Villas can provide guidance and advice on this important aspect of holiday letting.
